Business software company NetSuite has announced a new partnershipwith Tableau Software that will allow customers to combine Tableau’s visual analytics tools with NetSuite systems for real time data insights.
Users can draw on NetSuite ERP, CRM, and ecommerce data and also use Tableau to blend this data with non-NetSuite data to help identify and act on business trends and opportunities. The partnership’s features come at no extra cost to the customer.
Tableau’s offering provides a highly visual element for making sense of the data within NetSuite ERP including global interactive mapping for monitoring global business trends.
Meeting rising demand
Tableau has been operating on NetSuite’s cloud since 2008 and has been named a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms on three consecutive occasions.
“Robust analytics is a hallmark of leading-edge companies, and this makes it faster and simpler for NetSuite customers to take full advantage of Tableau”
“Both NetSuite and Tableau are committed to meeting rising demand among customers for out-of-the-box integration that would let them go from data to insights in a few clicks,” explained NetSuite’s Guido Haarmans, senior vice president of business development for technology partners.
“Teaming up with Tableau and our joint development efforts addresses this demand and enhances the value of our respective technologies,” he said.

Currently more than 24,000 businesses use NetSuite’s cloud in their business operations while Tableau has more than 32,000 accounts.
“This integration opens new doors for joint customers to understand and act on NetSuite data in real-time using best-in-class analytics,” said Dan Jewett, VP of product management at Tableau Software. “Robust analytics is a hallmark of leading-edge companies, and this makes it faster and simpler for NetSuite customers to take full advantage of Tableau to drive the business.”
